The Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup 2026 is set to begin on March 22 at the Madina Astroturf, with 16 teams set to battle for glory.<\/p>\n

The launch of the 11th edition was held on March 22 at the conference room of the National Mosque in Kanda, Accra.<\/p>\n

Among the dignitaries present were a representative of the National Chief Imam, Dr. Abubakar Marzuq; former Board Chairman of the Zongo Development Fund, Lawyer Seidu Nasigri; competition organizers; representatives from the participating communities; and the \u201cDie Hard\u201d Supporters Union.<\/p>\n

The pairing was also done at the launch, as Adabraka Zongo open their title defence against Ashaley Botwe in Game 7 on the day.<\/p>\n

Sabon Zongo will kick off the competition against Nsawam.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Black Stars forwards Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana have pledged to support the tournament with individual prizes, as well as the provision of jerseys.<\/p>\n

The Ramadan Cup, which was introduced in 2015, is in honour of the National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to unite Zongo communities across the country.<\/p>\n
